Meet Garrett Majors
My name is Garrett and I am very proud to be a Home Inspector with Checkup Property Inspections! I am a native to Denver, Colorado, but I now live in Castle Rock. I have been a firefighter for over 10 years which gives me a unique perspective on home construction and fire safety. Thoroughness, attention to detail and clear communication are crucial for any home inspection. It is important to me that my clients walk away from their inspection feeling informed and confident in their new homeownership journey. When I am not doing home inspections, I am spending time with my bride chasing our wild three children all over!

My name is Ryan Abbott, and I am both proud and excited to be a part of the Check Up Property Inspections team. This is a company that embodies professionalism and attention to detail, serving the metro area that I love. Born and raised in Arvada, I am fortunate to still call this community home, where I live with my wonderful wife and our dog. With nearly 20 years of experience in the fire service, I bring a unique skill set that combines experience in fire safety, thoroughness in every detail, and dependability—qualities that I’m eager to apply in the home inspection industry. I’m thrilled to assist clients during such an exciting and significant chapter of their lives. Whether purchasing their first home or their tenth, I look forward to helping them be informed and confident with their new home. When I’m not working, my wife and I travel all over the state and find hidden, off-the-beaten path camping spots to enjoy this beautiful state we live in.
